PaceLab, a globally recognised leader in sports science-driven fast bowling coaching, is proud to announce the establishment of its inaugural Fast Bowling Academy in South Africa, in collaboration with the prestigious Paul Roos Gymnasium. This initiative aims to cultivate and advance the next generation of talented fast bowlers across the Western Cape.
The PaceLab Fast Bowling Academy will operate as a full off season programme designed for aspiring cricketers aged 12-18. It will provide a comprehensive training structure that prioritises the enhancement of speed, strength, and technique. Under the guidance of renowned Fast Bowling Coach and CEO of PaceLab, Steffan Jones. Participants will engage in a meticulously crafted curriculum, firmly rooted in PaceLab’s principles of fast bowling.

The academy will comprise 18 live skill stability sessions, tailored strength and conditioning programmes, and access to advanced training technology. Moreover, participants will benefit from masterclasses led by PaceLab’s expert coaches, ensuring they receive premier guidance throughout their development.
Paul Roos Gymnasium, an esteemed institution recognised for its commitment to excellence in sports education, will serve as the hub for this academy. This collaboration not only provides state-of-the-art facilities but also guarantees that participants gain a competitive edge through comprehensive training and skill transfer.
